Brian York has spent his career specializing in consulting, audit and tax services for clients primarily in the financial services industry, including private equity funds, hedge funds, fund of funds, mutual funds, and management companies. Brian has years of experience advising these entities on initial organizational structure, audit processes and the management of operational and tax matters.
Prior to joining Standish Management, Brian worked as a consultant and auditor at Rothstein Kass in their Beverly Hills and San Francisco offices. While at Rothstein Kass, Brian was responsible for providing audit and a range of consulting services for alternative investment entities including onshore and offshore funds, master feeder structures, private equity funds and investment advisors. He also conducted performance audits, including verifications under the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute’s AIMR® Performance Presentation Standards.
Brian earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Saint Michael’s College, Vermont.
