Fund is approaching or has exceeded the end of its term
Action
Our dedicated team works closely with General Partners to maximize liquidity while creating a successful exit for their fund. Once we evaluate the portfolio and find it meets our qualifications, we issue a Letter of Intent (LOI) and initiate our final due diligence phase. Once this is completed, we send the seller a standard purchase agreement, and prepare all transfer documentation. The deal is consummated when all legal documentation for transferring the investments is complete and money is exchanged.
Results
The results for you, the General Partner, include:
Achieve liquidity to generate cash and wind-up the fund
Focus on raising follow-on funds
Dispose of remnant portfolio companies
Remove all unnecessary expenses and drain on resources
Refocus time and energy on newer vintage partnerships and investment areas
Related Transactions
Here is a list of other transactions our team can help you with:
Sponsor a General Partner to acquire their entire fund
Add commitments to an existing fund to enable the General Partner to provide follow-on investments to portfolio companies
