Biography

Ionel focuses on originating and valuing investments in venture-backed companies as well as LP and GP stakes in venture capital funds for the Secondaries team.

Prior to Industry Ventures, Ionel was an associate at FTV Capital where he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing growth equity investments in fintech and software companies. Prior to that, Ionel spent time as an investment banker, where he advised technology companies on M&A transactions and capital raises.

Ionel holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from McGill University.
