Biography

Phil is responsible for overseeing all legal functions, including supporting the firm’s investment activities, fundraising efforts, and firm compliance.

Prior to joining Industry Ventures, Phil was a partner in the San Francisco office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focused on representing private equity funds and portfolio companies in mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, carveouts, and growth investments.

Phil received his JD from The University of Michigan Law School and BA in Political Science and Chinese Studies from The University of California, San Diego.
